Home Going Celebration will be held Sunday, August 8th, 2021, at 1:30 P.M.at Sims Chapel Baptist Church, 61 Sims Chapel Rd. Covington, GA, Pastor Cecil J. Rozier, Eulogist. Assisted by others. The remains will lie in-state at the church at 12:30 P.M. . He leaves to cherish his fondest memories, daughter, Riley Lackey; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lester (Constance) Lackey; siblings, Ms. Brandy Johnson, Mr. & Mrs. Marcus (LaQuoya) Griffieth, Ms. Lyndy Baker and Mr. Torrence Lackey; nieces, Dezhia, Lynette and Dezaria; nephews, Demetrie and Marcus, Jr.; two great nieces, Samaria and Ja’Kyla; four aunts, Mrs. Beliccia Spearman, Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence (Ruby) Lester, Mr. & Mrs. James (Collise) Anderson and Ms. Connie Jones; two uncles, Mr. Vernon Lackey and Mr. Anthony Jackson; four great aunts, Mrs. Johnnie Terrell, Mrs. Mamie Green, Mrs. Bertha White and Mrs.  Joyce Hendrix; one great great aunt, Mrs. Lillie Ruth Barber, extended family Ollie Mae Russel; a host of loving devoted cousins, close friends, Quintavious, Heard and Ryan Little.
