Mother Lillie P. Maddox of Covington entered eternal rest on Friday, November 10, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017, 12 NOON at James Paschal Missionary Baptist Church 651 GA 142 Covington, GA 30014, Reverend Dwayne Stephens Pastor, Eulogist, Assisted by Others. Interment will follow at the Graves Chapel Cemetery, Covington, GA. The remains will lie in-state from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour. The cortege will assemble at 11:00 A.M. at 5131 Glover St. Covington, GA 30014. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, 12 NOON-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Mrs. Eva Louise Grier, Mr. & Mrs. Alan (Betty) Bridges, Mr.& Mrs. Oscar (Janice) Usher; sons, Mr. & Mrs. Mozell (Mary) Smith, Mr. Charles Maddox, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny (Johnell) Maddox, Mr. Dennis Ray (Maxine) Maddox, Mr. Billy (Teresa) Maddox; step-daughter, Ms. Donna Maddox; daughter-in-law, Vickie Maddox; her loving sister, Mrs. Ollie Mae Russell; sister-in-law, Mrs. Kathryn Smith; godsons, Mr. Johnnie Rufus Rakestraw and Mr. James Henry Lee. She was truly blessed to see six generations which included, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren.
