Mr. John Lee Martin of Covington, GA peacefully transitioned on Aug 7, 2023. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023,11:00 A.M. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2177 Usher Street NW Covington, GA 30016 at . Rev. Ronnie Thomas, Pastor,Eulogist. Interment, Lawnwood Memorial Park. His remains will lie in-state at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Ola Martin, daughter, Gloria Jean Martin Mosby; son, Milton Owen (Butch) Martin (Shortrese); stepchildren, Jean Rodgers (Matthew), Nikki Howards, Ed Tucker (Wanda); sisters, Florine Head (Crosby), Donial Jean Martin Hines and Mildred Martin; brother, Mack Martin; six grandchildren; Allen S. Mosby, Jr. (Stephanie), Clifton Levar (Lee) Smith (Sherry), Lionel Martin (Dominque), Chrystal Manns (Chris), Jason Martin (Brittany) and Millicent Martin;sisters-in-law, Addie Martin (Clinton), Tina Martin (Lawrence), Peg Martin (Mack) and Sarah Slaughter; brothers-in-law, Gordon Terrell (Helen) and John Terrell and a conglomerate of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
