Mrs. Irene Rogers

Mrs. Irene Rogers of 8145 Puckett Street Covington, GA 30014 entered eternal rest on March 24, 2017. A Service of Celebration will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 2801 Broughton Road Newborn, GA 30056, Bishop J.D. Means, Pastor, Reverend Alfred Murry, Eulogist, Assisted by others. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The remains will repose in the church from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour. The family will assemble at  9167 Jefferson Village Dr. Covington, GA at 12:00 Noon. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the funeral home, 12 Noon-8:00 P.M.  She leaves to cherish her memories, three loving daughters and one adopted daughter, Ms. Linnett Russell, Mr. & Mrs. Walter (Mary) Jordan, Monticello, Georgia, Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Diann) Reid, Covington, GA and Mrs. Martha Ann Stanford, both of Covington, Georgia, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great- grandchildren, two sisters, Mr. & Mrs. Oscar (Gracie) Rogers, Madison, Georgia and Ms. Rosa Mae Williams, Newborn, Georgia, brother, Mr. & Mrs.  Eugene (Maggie) Williams, Covington, Georgia, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Helen Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  "A Service of Dignity, A Trademark of Excellence"
