Mrs. Peggy A. Smith of Covington, Georgia entered eternal rest on February 1, 2021. Home Going Service for Mrs. Peggy A. Smith of Covington, GA will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. at Poplar Hill AME Church, 623 Poplar Hill Road Covington, GA 30014, Rev. Nicole Durham, Pastor, Bishop Elect Arthur J. Croone, Eulogist. Assisted by others. Peggy will be forever remembered by her two sons, Mr. Jeffery (Belinda) Smith and Mr. Christopher Smith; her sisters, Betty Smith, Zear Stanford, Angela Stanford and Barbara Fears. She also leaves to cherish her precious memory ten grandchildren, four beautiful great-grandchildren, many special friends, and a host of cousins including Tommy Adams, Yvonne Adams, Charlie Stanford II, and Stevie Stanford. Visitation will be held Friday, February 5, 2021, 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home, Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at Mrs. Peggy’s residence at 2:00 P.M.
