Ms. Betty Jean Barkley entered eternal rest on January 18, 2021. Home Going Service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 12:00 Noon at Poplar Hill AME Church, 623 Poplar Hill Road Covington, GA 30014 Pastor Nicolene Durham, Eulogist. Assisted by others. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny (Peggy) Usher and Ms. Annie Barkley; one son, Mr. & Mrs. Bobby (Sharon) Battle; four grandchildren, Marcus, Jeremy, Whitney and Courtney; one great grandchild; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Gloria Barkley and one step-sister, Mrs. Lois Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  is survived by a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 22, 2021. 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M. "A Service of Dignity, A Trademark of Excellence."
