Rev. Joe Lewis Mckibben, Age 82, of Covington, Georgia entered eternal rest on June 22, 2018. Home Going Service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Peeks Chapel Baptist Church, 3185 Old Salem Rd. Conyers, Georgia 30013. Interment: Church Cemetery.Pastor Mckibben leaves to cherish his memories; a devoted and loving wife of 59 ½ years, Sister Annie Lou Mckibben; one son, Mr. Willie Joe (Phyillis) Mckibben; two brothers, Mr. Arthur-Hubbard (Clin) Mckibben and Mr. Bobby Mckibben; four sisters- in-law, Ms. Florine baker, Ms. Nellie Mckibben, Mrs. Mattie (James) Hamm and Ms. Kathryn Williams; two brothers-in-law, Dea. Onree Smith and Dea. Ralph Sidwell; one son-in-law, Dea. Willie Henderson Jr, five grandchildren, Ashley, Jovia, Brandon, Taleeta and Camille; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; along with his church families Bethlehem Baptist Church and Shady Grove Baptist Church. He will be dearly Missed.The remains will lie in-state at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Family and Friends will assemble at the family's residence at 10:00 A.M.
